This year’s Agricultural Fair is themed “Forge Ahead on a New Journey, Strengthen Agriculture and Promote Revitalization.” It is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the People’s Government of Shandong Province, and co-organized by the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, the People’s Government of Qingdao City, and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Shandong Province. The fair emphasizes the principles of being “pragmatic, concise, and safe,” comprehensively showcasing the achievements of agricultural and rural development in the new era and on the new journey, and helping to boost agriculture through industrial revitalization, quality enhancement, and green development.

The “Strong Agriculture Forum,” held concurrently with the opening ceremony, was chaired by Zhang Xingwang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Tang Renjian, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, delivered a keynote speech via video. Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, delivered a welcoming address. Fu WanJun, President of the Agricultural Bank of China; Zhang Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee; as well as representatives from relevant enterprises, experts and scholars, and grassroots cadres, all gave keynote speeches and participated in exchanges. Tang Renjian emphasized that we must earnestly study and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, carry out the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, place industrial revitalization in a prominent position, meticulously implement the requirements for “local specialties,” integrate production, processing, and sales, blend agriculture with culture and tourism, and connect science, technology, industry, and trade. We should promote the transformation and creation of local resources, continuously recreate local cultural characteristics, and extend and strengthen industrial chains, thereby building a modern rural industrial system characterized by distinct advantages and specialties, superior product quality, a complete industrial chain, and outstanding comprehensive benefits.

At this exhibition, numerous products under the Shendi Group made a collective appearance, including fresh egg products and a wide range of egg-based health-tech products. The rich and unique product displays, coupled with the engaging explanations provided by on-site staff, drew numerous visitors to stop and learn more. Staff from the Marketing and Operations Department of Shendi Group prepared display props such as fruits, vegetables, and purified water, and demonstrated live the remarkable cleaning and decontamination effects of their fruit and vegetable cleansing products. Many exhibitors showed great interest and personally tried out the products themselves.

This year’s Agricultural Fair features an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters and includes 11 thematic zones: grains and oils, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry, aquatic products, tea, geographically indicated agricultural products, agricultural reclamation areas, agricultural and rural service industries, and international exhibits. Nearly 3,000 enterprises from 18 countries and 31 provinces across China are participating in the fair. Additionally, nearly 20,000 buyers—including representatives from large supermarkets, e-commerce companies, agricultural product wholesalers, retail chains, and catering businesses—as well as professional visitors, are attending the event. During the fair, a variety of engaging promotional activities will be held concurrently, such as the launch and promotion of agricultural brands and an international procurement matchmaking conference.

To date, the China International Agricultural Products Fair has been successfully held for 20 consecutive sessions, making it the most authoritative, largest-scale, and most influential comprehensive agricultural trade show.
