From November 29 to December 1, the 5th China Egg Industry Conference was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Shendi Group was invited to attend the conference, and Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, attended the event and was awarded the Young Talent Award in the Chinese Layer Chicken Industry.

This conference is supported by the International Egg Commission (IEC), the China Animal Husbandry Association (CAAA), the U.S. Egg Industry Center, the United Egg Producers, the Netherlands Agri-Food and Technology Centre, the German Agricultural Society (DLG), and the High-Quality Livestock Products Branch of the China Excellent Agriculture Association. It is jointly organized by Egg Eye to the Sky, Farmers’ Daily Digital Media, the Key Laboratory for Meat, Egg, and Layer Chicken Farming Facilities Engineering under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the College of Animal Science and Technology at Hebei Agricultural University, and the Capital Health, Nutrition, and Culinary Society.

The theme of this conference is “Exchange and Sharing, Win-Win Cooperation, Joint Industrial Development, and Coexistence in the Industry.” More than 1,500 representatives from research, production, and distribution sectors of the domestic layer chicken industry chain attended the conference. Over 100 enterprises related to the layer chicken industry chain showcased their new technologies, new products, and corporate image.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, Yu Xian, Vice President of the Poultry Branch of the Fujian Province Animal Husbandry Association, Professor Ning Zhonghua from China Agricultural University, a scientist with the National Layer Chicken Industry Technology System, and Dr. Li Lihua, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory for Meat and Egg Chicken Farming Facilities Engineering under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, delivered speeches, jointly witnessing the grand occasion of the layer chicken industry conference.

This grand event has brought together industry leaders from home and abroad, including Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group; Maro Lbarburu, Director of the U.S. Egg Products Center; Mr. Tadayuki Motomura, Director of Japan’s NABEL Company; Yuan Zhengdong, Vice President of Beijing Deqingyuan; and other renowned experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and industry insiders engaged in the egg-laying chicken sector and its supporting industries. Together, they have gathered to discuss and deliberate on the theme “Raising Healthy Chickens, Producing High-Quality Eggs, Selling Eggs Effectively, and Enjoying Delicious Eggs,” sharing insights into the future of the industry. The discussions cover a wide range of topics—from macro policies and capacity regulation to breed selection, healthy farming practices, production management, industrial extension, brand marketing, and financial futures—promoting comprehensive exchanges across all links of the egg industry’s value chain. This will help the egg industry overcome development challenges and achieve sustained, healthy, innovative, and efficient growth.

At the conference, Shendi Group showcased and promoted several of its fresh egg products as well as egg-source technology-based health products. Among the exhibits were JingShan eggs—products bearing the national geographical indication trademark—and other items such as Eggshell Fruit & Vegetable Cleaner, made with food-grade ingredients that achieve a 99% sterilization rate and are safe for pregnant women and infants; Lysozyme Mouthwash, which inhibits bacteria and freshens breath; and Egg Yolk Oil Baby Diaper Rash Cream, which provides external protection while moisturizing internally. These products attracted the attention of numerous attendees, sparking extensive discussions and in-depth consultations. CCTV’s “San Nong Shuo Changduan” program dedicated a special report to the topic, titled “Long-term Focus: ‘Chains’ Unlock New Opportunities—Extending the Industrial Chain and Driving the Egg Industry Toward Branding and Refined Development.”

Concurrently with the conference, a ceremony was held to present the “China Laying Hen Industry Lifetime Achievement Award and Young Talent Award.” These awards are designed to recognize outstanding individuals in China’s laying hen industry who have made exceptional contributions and achieved remarkable accomplishments. Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, has been deeply engaged in the egg industry for many years, dedicating himself to driving the transformation of traditional egg production and processing toward high-value, sophisticated deep-processing techniques. He is committed to creating egg-based technological products that better serve global health needs, thereby promoting high-quality, green development of the industry and generating tremendous economic and social value. With his outstanding industry influence, he was awarded the China Laying Hen Industry Young Talent Award.
