From September 6 to 8, the 25th China Agricultural Product Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair was held at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhumadian City, Henan Province. As a key national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, Shendi Group was invited to attend this grand event. Niu Hua, Deputy General Manager of Shendi Group, led the delegation to the fair. A range of its health-focused products—including eggshell fruit and vegetable cleanser, Changyin Small Peptide Plant Beverage, and lysozyme toothpaste/mouthwash—made their debut at the expo and received widespread acclaim.

The China Agricultural Products Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair has been successfully held for 24 sessions. It is the only 5A-level exhibition in China dedicated to the theme of agricultural product processing, serving as a leading international conference and the highest-level national expo in the field of agricultural product processing. This year’s Fair is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the People’s Government of Henan Province, with specific implementation carried out by the Department of Rural Industry Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Henan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the People’s Government of Zhumadian City. Leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the State Administration of Financial Regulation, along with officials from provincial (autonomous region, municipality) governments, representatives from foreign embassies in China, and representatives from international organizations stationed in China, as well as over 5,000 exhibiting companies—including domestic and international agricultural product processing enterprises, equipment manufacturers, buyers, and suppliers—plus more than 80,000 Chinese and foreign guests are attending this year’s event.

At the opening ceremony, Li Jinghui, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended and delivered a speech. Li Zhuo, Vice Governor of Henan Province, and Bida Wu, Minister-Counselor ad interim at the Embassy of Burkina Faso in China, also gave remarks. Li Jinghui pointed out that in recent years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has actively expanded the multiple functions of agriculture, tapped into the diverse values of rural areas, and promoted the integrated development of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. As a result, the agricultural product processing industry has become a crucial cornerstone for the development of rural industries. He emphasized that localities should focus on key and specialty rural industries, strengthen leading enterprises, complete industrial chains, foster new business models, and build strong brands—enhancing the agricultural product processing industry across all stages, promoting specialty rural industries along the entire chain, cultivating industrial operators in all sectors, facilitating deep integration of industries through all factors, and creating comprehensive, whole-industry-chain agricultural development. By adopting a multi-pronged approach, we must drive high-quality development of rural industries led by agricultural product processing.

This year’s Agricultural Fair is themed “Doing a Great Job with Local Specialties and Promoting High-Quality Development of the Agricultural Processing Industry.” The exhibition covers a total area of 60,000 square meters and features 15 exhibition zones, including a comprehensive zone, specialized zones, and regional zones. Many well-known companies such as Yili, Luhua, Jinmailang, and Junlebao are participating in the fair. The venue was bustling with crowds and extremely lively.

At this Agricultural Fair, Shendi Group showcased a range of “big health” products, including eggshell-based fruit and vegetable cleansers, refreshing small-peptide plant beverages, lysozyme toothpaste and mouthwash, among others. The core ingredients of these products all originate from egg-derived extracts. Leveraging innovative biotechnology, these products have been developed around the deep processing of eggs and the comprehensive utilization of egg by-products, maximizing the use of whole egg resources. While enhancing the added value of egg products and upgrading processing technology, these innovations also promote green development, yielding outstanding economic and social benefits.

During the exhibition tour, numerous leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, delegations from various provinces, diplomats, and other dignitaries visited the booth where Shendi Group was located to offer their guidance. They expressed full recognition of the highly refined poultry and egg products showcased by our company and encouraged Shendi Group to leverage its strong R&D capabilities to launch more distinctive and competitive new products.

In front of the Shendi Group’s booth, a large number of attendees and exhibitors were drawn to stop and inquire in detail. They showed particular interest in Shendi Group’s current market hit product, “Eggshell Fruit & Vegetable Cleaner,” as well as its upcoming new product, “Changyin Small-Peptide Plant Beverage.” Many expressed their intention to arrange further discussions after the event to foster deeper collaboration.

During the three-day conference and exhibition, Shendi Group fully showcased the company’s strength in egg-source technology and the appeal of its egg-source health products. Currently, the company has achieved high-value, closed-loop utilization across the entire egg-product value chain, encompassing fresh eggs, egg powder, liquid egg, eggshells, and egg membranes. In 2019, as the only poultry egg enterprise selected, the company’s exemplary model for the comprehensive utilization of agricultural products and processing by-products was designated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as a national model and is being promoted as a demonstration. In 2021, the group’s health-focused product series was featured in the National “13th Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Exhibition,” where it was reviewed by leaders of the Party and the state.
