From September 26 to 28, the 18th Egg Science and Technology Conference of the China Animal Product Processing Research Association was grandly held in Changchun, Jilin Province. Shendi Group, as a co-organizer of this conference and a leading enterprise in the egg industry, was invited to participate. This conference is co-hosted by the China Association for Research on Processing of Animal Products and Jilin University. Experts and scholars from the industry, representatives from various institutions and organizations, and senior executives from enterprises have gathered here to discuss cutting-edge trends and practical applications in egg product technology development. Enterprises and institutions along the upstream and downstream segments of the egg product value chain are showcasing their latest products, technologies, and achievements on-site.

The opening ceremony of the conference was chaired by Professor Liu Jingbo from the School of Food Science and Engineering at Jilin University. Xu Xinglian, Executive Vice President of the China Association for Processing of Animal Products, and Wang Jun, Director of the Industrial Technology Division at the China Rural Technology Development Center, delivered speeches, jointly witnessing the grand occasion of the Egg Product Technology Conference and expressing their firm confidence in and best wishes for the future development of China’s egg product industry.

The collaborative advancement of the egg industry hinges on the co-construction and shared benefits among all links in the industrial chain. At this conference, numerous forums and presentation sessions were organized. Xu Xinglian, Executive Vice President of the China Association for Animal Product Processing Research, and Ma Meihu, Professor at the College of Food Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, as well as Vice President of the China Association for Animal Product Processing Research and Conference Chair, jointly chaired the Academician Forum. Sun Baoguo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Beijing University of Commerce, Xie Mingyong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Nanchang University, and Huang He, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Nanjing Normal University, delivered keynote speeches on the topics of “Trends in Pre-prepared Dishes,” “A Brief Analysis of Hotspots and Trends in Food Manufacturing Technologies,” and “Application and Development of Functional Oils in Poultry and Egg Production,” respectively.

During the keynote speech session of the conference, Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, delivered a presentation titled “Deep Processing of Poultry Eggs, Commercialization of Research Outcomes, and Practices for High-Quality Development.” The presentation focused on Shendi’s integrated industrial model, which covers the entire value chain—from fresh eggs to egg powder, egg liquid, eggshells, and egg membranes. Yang provided a clear and concise overview of Shendi Group’s innovative journey toward deep processing and the comprehensive utilization of all egg resources. In particular, he highlighted the group’s standout functional fresh egg products and egg-source-based health-tech products, whose innovation, efficacy, and strong market performance drew extensive attention from the audience.

Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, also attended the Entrepreneur Forum held concurrently with the conference. Together with Yu Xian, Chairman of Fujian Guangyang Egg Industry; Xie Liang, Deputy General Manager of Suzhou Oufu Egg Industry; and Liu Yong, General Manager of Fengji Food, they engaged in an in-depth dialogue on the future development of the egg industry.
