Professor Hu Dan and a team of experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences visited and provided guidance at Shendi in Hubei Province.

On November 25, a delegation led by Professor Hu Dan, Professor Sun Weiqing, and Professor He Xiangwei—experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences—visited the headquarters of Jingshan Shendi Company in Beijing. The purpose of the visit was to assess the foundational conditions for cooperation on high-value processing and comprehensive utilization technologies for agricultural products, as well as to prepare for the application and approval of special projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s 14th Five-Year Plan. Accompanying the delegation were Qian Xianbin, Vice Mayor of Jingshan City; Li Shijun, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Government Office and Chairman of the Trade Union; Yang Deren, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology, and Information Industry; and Pan Yuhui, Chief Engineer of the Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology, and Information Industry, who also provided reports and engaged in exchanges during the visit.

In the morning, the experts visited the company’s exhibition hall. Chairman Yang introduced to the expert team the company’s newly developed products under its comprehensive utilization model for poultry and egg by-products. These products include: high-efficiency functional egg powder feed, organic calcium lactate, egg membrane peptide powder, eggshell-based fruit and vegetable cleanser, and lysozyme mouthwash, among others.
After visiting the company’s advanced processing workshop in the afternoon, a team of experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and researchers from Shendi Company held an in-depth discussion on the theme of “Leading High-Tech Egg Products and Developing a 10-billion-Yuan Health Industry.” During the meeting, Professor Hu Dan and Professor Sun Weiqing expressed great interest in Shendi Company’s eggshell fruit and vegetable cleanser and egg membrane peptide powder, offering guidance and engaging in discussions on the technical challenges encountered during product development as well as areas for product improvement. They also explored potential directions for joint research and preliminary agreements were reached regarding a framework for future collaboration.
Shendi Company leverages nanotechnology and biotechnology to deeply process egg products and their byproducts, developing functional foods and specialized medical foods. This approach enables the high-value utilization of previously discarded resources and aligns with the trend of developing the greater health industry. Shendi has received strong recognition and high praise from experts, who believe that Shendi is at the forefront of industry development and boasts tremendous future growth potential.
