Good News | Shendi Group Wins the Excellence Award in the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Region)

On August 15, 2025, the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Regional Division) concluded successfully in Huanggang. The “Comprehensive Utilization of Poultry Egg By-products” project by Shendi Group stood out thanks to its outstanding innovation capabilities and development potential, earning it the competition’s Excellence Award.

On August 15, 2025, the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Regional Division) concluded successfully in Huanggang. Shendi Group’s “Comprehensive Utilization of Poultry Egg By-products” project stood out thanks to its outstanding innovation capabilities and development potential, earning it the competition’s Excellence Award.

This year’s Hubei regional competition is jointly hosted by the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Party Committee’s Financial Office, and the Provincial Youth League Committee. The Hubei High-Tech Development Promotion Center serves as the organizer. Since its launch in June of this year, the competition has attracted a total of 1,071 science and technology enterprises to register and participate, covering cutting-edge fields such as next-generation information technology, high-end equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection, biopharmaceuticals, and new materials. After going through multiple rounds of competition—including municipal and prefectural-level preliminary contests, provincial semi-finals, and the provincial finals—the event featured intense and exciting on-site competitions.

Niu Hua, Deputy General Manager of Shendi Group, represented the company in this competition. On-site, he conducted a detailed and thorough analysis of the project from multiple angles—including its innovativeness, technological maturity, business model, and industrialization capabilities—providing a vivid and comprehensive introduction to the “Comprehensive Utilization of Poultry Egg By-products” project. The presentation fully showcased the project’s innovative technologies and outstanding achievements in leveraging cutting-edge biotechnology to harness poultry egg by-product resources, enhance the added value of the egg industry, drive the industry’s transformation and upgrading, and address common industry challenges such as resource waste and environmental pollution. The project received unanimous recognition from the expert judges at the roadshow, earning a high score of 90.73 and placing it among the top 20% of all participating projects in the biopharmaceutical track, leaving a stunning impression on the entire audience.

The “Comprehensive Utilization of Poultry Egg By-products” project leverages innovative biotechnology to develop a series of high-value, functional poultry egg products centered on the sophisticated processing of eggs and the comprehensive utilization of by-products, thereby addressing vital health needs. This project represents the most technologically challenging and broadly innovative component of Shendi Group’s commitment to high-quality development across the entire egg industry chain. Several scientific and technological achievements related to eggshells, membranes, egg liquids, and defective eggs have been evaluated as being at “internationally leading” or “internationally advanced” levels. The egg-derived technology products developed using patented technologies span multiple fields, including household cleaning and daily chemicals, oral care, functional health supplements, and pet food. A number of these products have already been launched onto the market and are widely popular among consumers. Among them, the DanShengYuan® Eggshell Fruit & Vegetable Cleaner—developed based on the adsorption and complexation properties of eggshell extracts—has successfully filled a gap in both domestic and international markets and has consistently ranked No. 1 on sales charts for similar products on platforms such as Douyin.

Eggs are rich in essential nutrients such as protein, fat, lutein, and lecithin, and also contain a variety of bioactive compounds—including antibacterial, antiviral, immunomodulatory, and anticancer activities.
