A delegation from the Association of Senior Professors and the Association of Senior Science and Technology Workers of Huazhong Agricultural University visited Shendi Group for inspection and guidance.

On December 23, Liu Songnian, former chairman of the trade union at Huazhong Agricultural University, a researcher, and president of both the University’s Association of Retired Teachers and the Association of Retired Scientists, along with a delegation of 20 members, visited the JingShan headquarters of Shendi Group for an inspection and guidance tour, sharing valuable insights and expertise to support Shendi Group’s high-quality development in poultry farming and the deep processing of egg products.

Accompanied by Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group, the inspection team visited, in turn, the egg-processing integrated workshop, the cultural exhibition hall, and the high-end egg-processing base, gaining an in-depth understanding of Shendi’s scientific and technological achievements in egg products, its production and operations, and its future development plans.

In the comprehensive egg-processing workshop of Shendi Group, each egg undergoes more than ten rigorously controlled processing steps—ranging from cleaning and sanitizing to optical inspection, crack detection, drying, food-grade spray coating, intelligent grading, counting, weighing, printing of production dates, boxing, and packaging—on a fully automated, digitized production line. This ensures that every fresh egg reaching the market and ending up on consumers’ tables is traceable. The inspection team expressed full recognition and high praise for Shendi’s digital, intelligent fresh-egg processing line, which adheres to exceptionally high standards and stringent quality control measures.

In the cultural exhibition hall of Shendi Group, Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group, reviewed the company’s 20-year journey of technology-driven, digital-intelligent transformation, innovative management, and high-quality, full-chain circular development, drawing on the innovative products displayed in the hall and the wall-to-wall honors adorning its walls. This allowed the inspection team to immerse themselves fully in the outstanding achievements and innovative appeal of “Egg-Product Technology, Shendi Intelligent Manufacturing.”

At the Shendi Egg Products Deep Processing Base, the inspection team focused on gaining an in-depth understanding of Shendi Group’s innovative technologies and the commercialization of these innovations in the field of advanced egg product processing. They also asked detailed questions about the production status of Shendi’s egg-based health industry and engaged in a thorough exchange with Chairman Yang Yan on such topics as specific process challenges and the economic benefits of market transformation.

After the tour, a group of 20 members from the Association of Senior Professors and the Association of Senior Science and Technology Workers of Huazhong Agricultural University held a symposium with Lu Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Jingshan Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, and Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group. Professors Liu Songnian, Zhang Chouhe, Wang Qingzhang, Chen Shunyou, Hu Liyong, Cai Lihong, Zhang Xinjun, and Feng Lan shared insightful presentations on topics including feed formulations, chicken manure treatment, the development and utilization of lysozyme in egg whites, and functional eggs—combining scientific theory with practical market applications. Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group, introduced Shendi’s 20-year dedication to studying a single egg and its innovative technological advancements and successful成果转化 efforts in deeply exploring the health benefits and nutritional value of poultry eggs. He also engaged in an in-depth exchange and discussion with the experts and leaders present on the theme of “Using Eggs to Enrich Families and Breaking Eggs to Strengthen the Nation.”

From functional eggs to extracting membranes from broken shells and preparing lysozyme from egg whites—through the re-development and reuse of biological technologies—Shendi Group has been deeply engaged in the path of poultry farming and advanced egg processing for over 20 years. The company maintains long-term technical collaborations with research institutions such as Huazhong Agricultural University, and has jointly established national-local joint engineering research centers for egg-processing technology and provincial-level expert workstations, among other research platforms. As a result, Shendi Group boasts extensive experience in scientific research, technological development, and the commercialization of research outcomes.
