This cultural festival, themed “Rural Revitalization, Healthy Shendi,” is organized by the Publicity Department of the JingShan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the JingShan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, with co-organization by the JingShan Municipal Science and Technology Association. Since its opening in August, the event has successfully staged 25 culturally enriching performances—varied in format and rich in content—that have brought culture directly to rural areas and communities, benefiting local residents. Over 400 performances were presented, involving more than 65,000 participants. Concurrently, the “Shendi Cup” and “One Egg” science-writing contests attracted active participation from teachers and students across primary and secondary schools throughout the city. During these three-month-long activities, a large number of vibrant, engaging, and culturally uplifting artistic programs emerged, and a group of outstanding science popularization works was also selected. The festival comprehensively showcased and promoted the significant achievements JingShan has made in its development, inspiring people across the city to embark on a new journey and make contributions in the new era through concrete actions.

The evening event was hosted by Huang Hongbo, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Party Committee’s Publicity Department. Attending the event were Sun Junxiong, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department; Mao Xiaomei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau; He Shiping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Science and Technology Association; Liu Shouguo, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Municipal Party Committee’s Publicity Department; Yin ShanHua, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau; Yang Sanming, Member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Education Bureau; Yan Shan, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Science and Technology Association; Yang Yan, Chairman of Shen Di Group; as well as heads of various relevant departments, community leaders from all towns (subdistricts) across the city, and representatives from the award-winning organizations. Together, they witnessed this momentous occasion. The event also drew hundreds of JingShan residents to the scene, creating an enthusiastic and lively atmosphere.

At the awards ceremony, the results of the “Shendi Cup” science popularization essay contest and the 2024 Community Culture Festival awards were announced and presented. Nine students, including Wu Jingwen and Hou Yifei, received the grand prize in the science popularization essay contest. Ten villages and communities, including Majia’an Community in Xinshi Subdistrict and Dongguan Community in Xinshi Subdistrict, were awarded the grand prize of the 2024 Community Culture Festival. Ten organizations, including Yanmenkou Town, Yongxing Subdistrict, and Sanyang Town, received the Organizational Award for the 2024 Community Culture Festival.

At the gala, outstanding performances—including "Kissing the Motherland" and "Year of Abundant Harvest"—were presented by a variety of groups, including the Women’s Flower Art Troupe, Shendi Group, Middle-aged and Elderly Fitness Art Troupe, Jingshan Huagu Opera Troupe, Zhaofan Community, Yundu Community Art Troupe, Yifen Art Troupe, Jingshan City Association for Science and Technology, Jingshan City Recitation Society, and Xinyang Community. The program was rich in content and brimming with excitement. It featured a diverse array of forms—such as dance, poetry recitations, skits, musical instrument performances, science-themed theater, and solo singing—combining artistic appeal, educational value, and visual delight. This vibrant showcase fully highlighted the cultural charm and spiritual character of Jingshan!

Centered around the event theme of “Rural Revitalization, Healthy Shendi,” the Shendi Group meticulously prepared and presented a poetry recitation titled “Twenty Glorious Years—Setting Sail Once More.” While retracing the Shendi Group’s 20-year journey, the performance also highlighted the profound transformations that Jing Shan has undergone over the past two decades—a period marked by industrial revitalization, rural rejuvenation, and 20 years of innovation, transformation, and collaborative advancement! The live performance was powerful and rhythmic, brimming with passion and strength, deeply resonating with the audience and eliciting continuous applause.

The Community Culture Festival of Jingshan City has been held continuously for many years. It is an important event that enriches and enlivens the spiritual and cultural lives of community residents, showcasing the achievements of rural revitalization and social progress in the new era.
