From December 20 to 23, Shendi Group made a remarkable appearance at the 2024 Hubei Agricultural Expo, showcasing its innovative products spanning the entire egg industry chain and demonstrating its technological prowess in egg sourcing. This highlights the group’s role in injecting new momentum into the development of traditional agriculture and the conventional egg industry.

This year’s Agricultural Expo is jointly organized by the Hubei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Hubei Provincial Bureau for Rural Revitalization. Focusing on the new driving forces behind agricultural productivity, the expo carries the theme “Gathering Wisdom in Jingchu, Sowing the Future.” It highlights the development of new agricultural productivity, the cultivation and promotion of agricultural brands, and the building of agricultural supply chains. A total of 1,577 enterprises and research institutions from within and outside the province are showcasing over 10,000 high-quality agricultural specialties—such as Jianghan rice, Chutian fine tea, Qianjiang lobster, and Shendi eggs—as well as a variety of “novel and unique” products, cutting-edge innovations, and “black-tech” solutions. Together, they’re presenting citizens with the most dazzling array of New Year’s goods and a grand feast of agricultural technology.

Wang Zhonglin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, attended the event and declared it open. Li Jinghui, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, delivered a speech. Academicians and experts from both inside and outside the province, as well as agricultural product suppliers, purchasers, and distributors from provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions—including Guangdong, Hunan, Shandong, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, and Tibet—and various cities and prefectures in Hubei, gathered together to jointly explore new ideas for agricultural development, discuss new business opportunities for agricultural cooperation, and share new prospects for agricultural growth.

On the first day of the event, Zhao Shaolian, Deputy Secretary of the Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, along with Mei Yong, Party Secretary of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, visited the Jingmen Pavilion and the Shendi Group’s booth to offer guidance and inspection. They fully recognized Shendi Group’s efforts and achievements in making breakthroughs in scientific research and innovation, as well as in driving the transformation of traditional agriculture toward modern agriculture. They also expressed keen interest in Shendi’s range of innovative products. After tasting and trying out these products, they praised their high-tech content and strong practical performance.

Boiled eggs in plain water—fragrant and delicious—drew visitors to the Shen Di Group’s booth, where they gathered in ever-thickening crowds. “These are Jing Shan Eggs, a nationally recognized geographical indication product,” explained the brand ambassador from Shen Di Group on-site. “The eggshells have a natural green hue. Though small, these eggs are incredibly nutritious, packed with a variety of trace elements and boasting low cholesterol levels. They’re highly valued for both their nutritional and medicinal benefits—and are even hailed as ‘ginseng among eggs’! Overseas, they’re known as ‘the Divine Egg of the East.’” The brand ambassador provided a detailed introduction to the unique features of these products and patiently answered all questions from the audience. At the tasting station, people kept coming one after another to sample the eggs and place orders.

In addition to fresh eggs and leisure egg products such as Jingshan Eggs, Shendi Qidan Eggs, Shendi Old Hen Eggs, and Shendi Original Braised Old Hen Soup, the Shendi Group has also introduced a range of egg-derived, science-based health products. These include premium, pure emu oil carefully selected from its natural source, combined with Shendi’s supercritical-extracted egg yolk oil to create the Pet Supplement “Papa Meng Emu Oil”—a product rich in nutrients and boasting extraordinary benefits. There’s also the Pet Chondroitin Product containing Shendi’s human-grade egg membrane peptides, which offer lubrication for joints, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects, strengthen bones, and promote tissue repair. Furthermore, there’s the Eggshell Fruit & Vegetable Cleaner—leveraging the adsorption and complexing properties of eggshell extracts, scientifically formulated to boost the sterilization rate up to 99.99% and effectively remove seven types of harmful substances from the surfaces of fruits and vegetables. During the Agricultural Expo, a supporting event was also held to showcase digital rural development cases from across the province. Shendi Group was invited to participate. Tianyuan, Shendi Group’s brand promotion officer, provided a detailed introduction to the group’s development journey, brand strengths, and egg-related technologies. She particularly highlighted Shendi’s fresh egg products as well as its specialty egg-source technology-based health products.
