A leader’s visit—steering forward with determination.

On April 28, Wu Jun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, along with his delegation, visited Shendi Group to conduct a research visit on its science and technology innovation efforts.

On May 13, Ma Yanzhou, Vice Mayor of the Huanggang Municipal People's Government, and his delegation visited Shendi Group to conduct a research visit on technological innovation and engage in exchanges and discussions.

From June 14 to 15, Wang Ling, a deputy to the National People's Congress and former Party Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, led a delegation to visit and conduct research at Shendi Group.

On September 6, a joint research team from the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, including Yang Xue, a fourth-level researcher at the Office of the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Congress; Wan Sha, deputy director of the Economic and Legal Regulations Division of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress; Huang Xiansheng, deputy director of the Second Legislative Division of the Provincial Department of Justice; Yang Chaoxin, director of the Regulatory Affairs Division of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Duan Zhihong, director of the Seed Industry Division of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; and Wang Aishun, deputy director of the Seed Industry Division of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, visited Shendi Group to learn about the development of Shendi’s layer chicken breeding industry.

From December 26 to 27, Xiang Keqiang, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director (at the level of a director-general) of the Provincial Agricultural Development Center, led a delegation to visit Shendi Group for research.

 

Ensuring Supply for the Asian Games, Shining Brightly on the World Stage

After rigorous assessment and selection by the Organizing Committees of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou and the 4th Asian Para Games, Shendi Group successfully made the shortlist thanks to its well-established integrated industrial chain for poultry egg farming and deep processing of egg products. As one of the nationally selected egg product suppliers, Shendi Group flawlessly fulfilled its supply assurance obligations. Consequently, Shendi Group has become the only domestic enterprise directly supplying egg products to the 7th World Military Games, the 19th Asian Games, and the 4th Asian Para Games.

In October 2023, the Organizing Committee of the Hangzhou Asian Games fully recognized the company’s proactive contributions and high-quality support efforts, and sent letters of appreciation to the JingShan Municipal Party Committee, the JingShan Municipal People’s Government, and ShenDi Group respectively.

From the Jingchu region to the banks of the Qiantang River, from Shen Di’s deep-processing base for egg products to the Asian Games dining halls—this time, Shen Di Group has brought genuine “health, nutrition, and deliciousness” to the Asian Games tables. By delivering high-quality, high-standard, and highly efficient food supplies, Shen Di successfully fulfilled its mission of ensuring the provision of ingredients for the Asian Games, achieving the goals of “zero incidents” involving foodborne stimulants and food safety accidents, as well as “zero disruptions” in the supply of Asian Games food ingredients, thereby earning widespread acclaim.

 

Strengthen the country, strengthen agriculture—putting words into action.

On May 9, the Shendi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park project—invested and constructed by Hubei Shendi Agricultural Science and Trade Co., Ltd.—officially broke ground in Dazhu Village, Xinshi Subdistrict, Jingshan City. The project will establish a modern egg-laying hen industry supply chain with an annual capacity of 1.5 million hens, with a total investment of 180 million yuan and a construction period of two years. It serves as a key support for Jingshan’s implementation of the national modern agricultural industrial park initiative. Upon completion, it will become the largest single-building (340,000 hens per building) digitally innovative demonstration egg-laying hen farm in the province.

The Dingjiachong breeding farm has been completed, with an investment of 40 million yuan. It comprises six buildings with a total construction area of 18,000 square meters. Currently, it has already housed 10,000 breeding hens and chicks.

The fully automated production line for chicken egg white peptide powder has obtained production licensing and has begun operations, further strengthening the Shendi Egg Products Deep Processing Base.

The continuous upgrading of production equipment and the ongoing expansion of production bases are key strategic moves for Shendi Group to achieve modern, high-quality enterprise development. The steadily growing, high-value, and sustainable egg-product industry chain will bring significant economic and social benefits across multiple dimensions.

 

Egg Technology, Divine Land Intelligent Manufacturing

In 2023, we filed 8 applications for national invention patents.

Following the completion of the national major innovation project under the 13th Five-Year Plan, we have once again joined the key special project (project: Development of Key Technologies and Equipment for Differentiated Processing and Quality Enhancement of Egg Products) under the 14th Five-Year Plan’s National Key R&D Program.

Undertake the key R&D project of Hubei Province (Project: Research on Key Technologies for Ovotransferrin in Egg White and Its Industrialization)

Selected as one of 24 provincial-level expert workstations in Hubei Province (Hubei Association for Science and Technology Letter [2023] No. 74).

The research achievement “Key Technology Development and Industrialization of Deep Processing of Egg Liquid” has been rated by a panel of experts from the Chinese Agricultural Society as being at an internationally leading level.

Selected as a typical case and promoted as part of the Hubei Province Agricultural and Rural Informatization Base—one of 50 such cases across the province (Case: Digital empowerment drives industrial development, helping to build a complete egg-laying chicken industry chain).

Selected as one of the first batch of provincial-level compliance farms under the Hubei Province Action Plan for Reducing the Use of Veterinary Antibiotics (Compliance Farm: Shendi Qianchang Modern Layer Chicken Farm).

Included as a key science and technology tackling project under the Jingmen City “List-Based Leadership” initiative (Project: Breeding of a specialized maternal line of high-yielding, stress-resistant laying hens and its application in the Jingmen Black Feather Green-Shell Egg Chicken配套 system).

Selected as the university-level “Postgraduate Joint Training Practice Base” of Huazhong Agricultural University (University Research Office [2023] No. 25)

In November 2023, we signed the “Letter of Engagement for Toxicological Evaluation and Safety Assessment Services on Eggshell Membrane Peptides” with the Hubei Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of eggshell membrane peptide-related functional and health-care foods.

Innovative development is both the cornerstone and the trump card for leading the future. Driven by the dual engines of technological innovation and the commercialization of scientific research outcomes, Shendi Group will undoubtedly create more cutting-edge products in the field of life and health, making an even greater contribution to the cause of human health.

In 2023, Shendi Group achieved remarkable results in technological innovation, focusing on enhancing product quality, optimizing service delivery, and strengthening brand reputation. Steadily advancing on the path to becoming a globally leading science-and-technology-driven health brand specializing in egg products, the company has reaped one success after another. The nationally recognized geographical indication product, “Jingshan Eggs,” has been included in the Agricultural Heritage Systems Inventory. Shendi has meticulously developed innovative products such as the nutritionally balanced, healthy, and raw-consumption-friendly Shendi Qi Egg; the Changyin Xiao Peptide Plant Beverage—a liver-supporting and hangover-relief product that combines ancient wisdom with modern technology; the Egg Yolk Oil infant diaper rash cream, which provides both internal and external protection; and the Mengma π Team Brady pet probiotics, featuring live bacteria that comprehensively address gastrointestinal issues in pets.

The new product lineup spans multiple sectors, including maternal and infant care, functional health supplements, and pet food. Meanwhile, existing fresh-product brands such as Shendi Eggs have undergone comprehensive iterative upgrades across all aspects. With a multi-pronged approach, the company is achieving all-round growth, further strengthening its product ecosystem centered around Shendi Egg products. This creates a powerful “engine” for the integration of technological innovation and industrial upgrading, providing strong momentum to help the group achieve its strategic goal of “leading China’s high-tech egg industry and developing a 10-billion-dollar health-care sector.”

The 7th Hubei Province Poultry Industry Development Conference, the “Springtime Encounter to Admire Cherry Blossoms” Economic and Trade Fair & Dialogue with Fortune Global 500 Companies in Hubei, the 2023 World Health Expo, the 2023 Jingmen-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair, the 3rd China International Consumer Goods Expo, the 25th China Agricultural Product Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair, the 17th China Egg Technology Conference & International Egg Technology Symposium, the 20th China International Agricultural Products Fair, and the 5th China Egg Industry Conference.

Throughout the year, Shendi Group showcased its products and innovative technologies with great flair at numerous large-scale international expos, economic and trade fairs, and specialized seminars, drawing widespread attention. The group reached preliminary agreements on procurement and sales cooperation with several companies, signed a US$10 million contract for egg liquid with Hong Kong-based traders, and secured a fresh egg order worth 100 million yuan from customers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As a representative of outstanding exhibiting enterprises, Shendi Group was prominently featured and interviewed by numerous media outlets, including Hainan TV and CCTV.
