Asia’s largest single-site laying hen farm! The Shendi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park project has officially broken ground!

On May 9, the Shendi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park project officially broke ground in Dazhu Village, Xinshi Subdistrict, Jingshan City. Officials from Xinshi Subdistrict and representatives from Shendi Group attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Several news media outlets, including Hubei Daily, reported live from the site.

　　The Shendi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park project is invested and constructed by Hubei Shendi Agricultural Science and Trade Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 121 million yuan. The project has a construction period of two years. Upon completion, it will become Asia’s largest single-site laying hen farm and will serve as a key support for Jingshan’s implementation of the national modern agricultural industrial park development initiative.

　　This project will adopt the world’s most advanced animal welfare farming technologies. Chicken manure will be processed using a no-ground-transfer and fermentation system, and 5G IoT technology will be employed for management and tracking, providing consumers with real-time monitoring of the entire process—from raising and production to processing, storage, and transportation—thus ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products and enabling full traceability. The entire project will utilize state-of-the-art equipment and facilities worldwide and will be constructed in accordance with EU standards, with each farm capable of housing 340,000 chickens. Upon completion, the project will also establish a new egg-export base.

　　We are building a modern layer chicken industry supply chain capable of producing 1.5 million hens. Upon completion, this project will add an annual output value of 3.6 billion yuan, generate over 26 million yuan in additional profits and taxes, and enable annual foreign exchange earnings from exports totaling 10 million U.S. dollars. It will also directly create more than 300 jobs and significantly boost the incomes of villagers and village collectives.

　　The commencement of the Shendi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park project will bring about significant economic, social, and ecological benefits. At the same time, the construction of this project is also an important strategic move for Shendi Group to achieve modernization and high-quality development. Looking ahead, Shendi Group will actively leverage its role as a national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization and as the presiding unit of the Hubei Province Poultry Association, seizing the opportunities presented by agricultural modernization and striving to realize its strategic vision of "leading China's high-tech egg industry and developing a 10-billion-dollar health industry," thereby contributing to rural revitalization, structural adjustment, and industrial upgrading.
