On January 27, the Shendi Group’s 2024 Spring Festival Gala was held with great pomp and circumstance at the group’s headquarters in Jingshan. More than 300 people—including Yang Yan, Chairman of the Shendi Group; Yang Fengfan, General Manager; leaders from industry associations, partners, and employees and their families from various business divisions within the group—gathered together to celebrate this joyous occasion, sharing a grand feast and looking forward to a vibrant and prosperous Year of the Dragon—the Jia Chen Year of the Dragon.

On January 27, the Shendi Group’s 2024 Spring Festival Gala was held with great splendor at the group’s headquarters in Jingshan. More than 300 people—including Yang Yan, Chairman of the Shendi Group; Yang Fengfan, General Manager; leaders from industry associations, partners, and employees and their family members from various business divisions within the group—gathered together to enjoy a festive feast and collectively look forward to the Year of the Dragon, a year marked by dynamism, prosperity, and fresh beginnings.
Recognize outstanding achievements and strive for continuous progress.
The annual meeting kicked off with the 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Employees of Shendi Group. 2023 was a year of rapid development for Shendi Group: several of Shendi’s breeding bases were completed, and multiple production lines successfully entered trial operation. Shendi honorably fulfilled its mission of providing egg-based food ingredients for the Hangzhou Asian Para Games with high quality, high standards, and high efficiency. Following its successful completion of the “13th Five-Year Plan” national key innovation project, Shendi has once again joined the key special projects under the “14th Five-Year Plan” National Key R&D Program... Throughout this year, the people of Shendi have collectively created many new achievements, steadily moving forward with practicality and hard work.
At the annual meeting, employees and teams who have made outstanding contributions, demonstrated a strong spirit of innovation, and shown dedication and practicality were recognized. Group leaders presented them with certificates, bonuses, and prizes to acknowledge their hard work and commitment over the past year, and encouraged all company employees to learn from these award winners.
Leaders’ Address: Building Dreams in the Sacred Land
Zhu Lingling, Deputy Director of the JingShan City Animal Husbandry Center—the unit responsible for pairing and supporting—Professor Ma Meihu, Chief Scientist of Shendi Group, and Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group, each delivered New Year’s greetings, collectively wishing Shendi Group enduring prosperity and great success in the future.
Yang Yan summarized the remarkable achievements of Shendi Group over the past year and once again expressed his gratitude and respect to all employees and outstanding role models. He led everyone in revisiting the original aspiration and vision of Shendi Group—the dream of “Shendi, Winning in China”—from the very beginning of its establishment. He also reflected on Shendi Group’s 20-year journey of dedicated research into eggs and its innovative development and transformation, focusing on egg-related technologies to safeguard health. Yang Yan encouraged all Shendi members to maintain their vigor, keenness, and courage, to pool their wisdom and efforts, to align their hearts and minds, and to unite their strength. In the new year, he urged everyone to forge ahead with determination and continue striving relentlessly for our great shared cause.
Dancing and singing for the New Year, a land blessed with bountiful harvests.
The 2024 annual gala of Shendi Group officially kicked off with the vibrant and joyous opening dance, "Land of Abundant Harvest." Sixteen performances—selected from various departments across the group—were presented in turn, featuring a rich array of artistic forms including song and dance, instrumental music, poetry recitation, voice-over shows, and fashion runway displays. The content closely reflected Shendi’s core values and spirit—“upright integrity and sincere heart, building our business on honesty, daring to face hardships, and striving diligently”—as well as the practical realities of the company’s business development. These performances not only delivered stunning visual and auditory experiences but also conveyed profound thematic depth.
Dancing gracefully
The dance "Bountiful Harvest Land," presented by the Production Department, was lively and vibrant, perfectly capturing the spirited outlook of the frontline team and conveying heartfelt blessings for the company’s bright future. The HSBC Branding Department showcased two solo dances—“Love Emergency + Attention” and “Sending Off the Bright Moon”—which were visually stunning, brimming with youthful energy and endlessly captivating. Meanwhile, the Company’s General Affairs Department delivered a creative medley of dances, “Crossing the River” paired with “Subject No. 3,” leaving the audience thoroughly delighted and thoroughly entertained.
Instrumental ensemble performance
The vast number of cadres and employees at Shen Di Group not only excel in their work but also demonstrate remarkable talent in the arts—masters of every musical instrument, from wind to string to percussion. The group’s headquarters leaders, General Xiong, General Huang, and Yang, Chairman of the Jingshan Light Machinery Union, performed a collaborative instrumental piece titled “Painting You.” The Hui Feng Business Division presented a solo guitar performance entitled “Personal Solo.” The Procurement Department showcased a medley of hulusi tunes titled “I’m a Soldier.” And the Jingshan City Orchestra—the largest amateur art ensemble in Jingshan City—delivered “Celebration,” a piece characterized by its exquisite harmony and flowing melodies, bringing the atmosphere of the event to a thrilling climax.
The singing voice lingers softly.
In the new era, as a fresh call to action rings out, Gu Xiangzhong, the director of the company’s breeding farm, performs “Chasing Dreams.” Guest Cao brings us “Good Days,” whose lingering melody is both majestic and inspiring. The HSBC Business Unit presents a choral performance of “The Brightest Star in the Night Sky.” The Office team delivers a solo rendition of “I Am a Little River.” Meanwhile, the Headquarters Administration Department performs two powerful choral numbers—“We Workers Have Energy” and “Sing to the Motherland”—their voices resounding with clarity and stirring the soul!
Endless creativity
The annual meeting was brimming with excitement and variety. In addition to singing, dancing, and musical performances, the innovative and enterprising Shendi people also presented a host of uniquely creative acts. The poetry recitation “I Love Going to Work,” performed by the HSBC Integrated Department, was bursting with positive energy and left everyone deeply inspired and fired up. Office prodigy Li Yingjun took to the stage and unleashed his calligraphy skills, composing the couplet “Wishing You a Happy New Year.” The creative runway show, specially selected from headquarters, was fresh and distinctive, creatively reimagining products and packaging from Shendi Group—including egg powder, egg liquid, eggshell fruit and vegetable cleanser, and lysozyme toothpaste—by incorporating them into clothing and accessories. The designs were thoughtfully crafted, ingeniously executed, and truly stood out. Meanwhile, the voice-over performance “Charlotte’s Web,” submitted by the Wuhan R&D department, was lively and amusing, eliciting continuous laughter from the audience.
The show’s performance segment was interspersed with two rounds of games and six rounds of lucky draws. Guests at the scene enthusiastically participated, and each draw was met with cheers and anticipation. As the grand prize was revealed, it wasn’t just the prize itself that brought joy—it was the arrival of good fortune. May everyone have endless luck in the new year!
