Shen Di Group was invited to attend the first expanded meeting of the 3rd Board of Directors of the Asian Egg Association.

From June 19 to 20, 2025, the first expanded meeting of the 3rd Council of the Asian Egg Association was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Shendi Group, as a vice-president unit of the association, was invited to attend the meeting. Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group and Vice Chairman of the Association’s Council, and Niu Hua, Deputy General Manager of Shendi Group, attended the meeting.

This meeting is hosted by Asian Egg Products Association, Sichuan University of Light Industry and Chemical Technology Hosted by, Professor Ma Meihu, President of the Association, and Professor Zhao Zhifeng, Secretary-General Co-chaired by the event, more than 70 representatives from 15 countries and regions across Asia attended. At the outset of the meeting, President Ma Meihu systematically reviewed the association’s 17-year development history. Since its official establishment in Hong Kong in 2009, the association has attracted 295 members from 15 countries and regions across Asia. Furthermore, it has successfully hosted five International Egg Technology Conferences, promoting regional technological cooperation and trade development through academic exchanges and industry visits, thereby significantly enhancing the industry’s international influence. The meeting yielded substantial and fruitful outcomes. The council unanimously approved the list of 52 new members. Including the addition of Yu Xie and Yang Jinyan as Executive Vice Presidents, and six entrepreneurs—including Wei Xiaoming—as Vice Presidents.
At the meeting, participants came from various countries and regions in Asia. Egg Processing Technology Leading experts and representatives from pioneering enterprises in the equipment sector gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on industry-wide common issues, cutting-edge technology trends, and market dynamics. They shared their latest achievements in new technologies and equipment for egg processing and analyzed strategic opportunities within the global trade landscape. Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group and Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, began by addressing the recently widely discussed issue of “excessive antibiotic residues detected in antibiotic-free eggs,” and shared several insights on eggs and food safety. He pointed out that the supply chain for fresh eggs and egg products—from production to the consumer’s hands—is highly complex, involving multiple stages such as breeding, sorting and processing, transportation, and final retail sales. Therefore, it is crucial to establish a comprehensive quality and safety control system that covers the entire chain, from source to table. In this regard, the association can play a vital role by providing scientific testing, endorsing standards, and promoting public awareness of food safety, thereby driving higher-quality development across the entire industry.
Shen Di Group was one of the association’s early members and has witnessed its development. Professor Ma Meihu, Chief Scientist of Shen Di Group, At the association’s inaugural members’ congress in 2011, Chairman Yang Yan was elected as the association’s president. and Vice President of the Association Shen Di Group and Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shen Di Group, have been successively elected as vice-presidential units of the association and vice-chairpersons of the association’s board of directors at various meetings. For many years, Shendi Group has fully supported the association’s various activities, offering valuable advice and strong support for its development, fostering information exchange and cooperation within the industry, and promoting technological innovation and management improvements in the sector.
Asia is the world’s leading producer of poultry eggs, accounting for more than 60% of global egg production. However, most of the larger-scale poultry egg processing enterprises are located in North America and Europe. At the same time, Asia is home to the world’s largest consumer base, and the egg-processing industry in Asia boasts an exciting growth outlook. For over 20 years, Shendi Group has been dedicated to the study of the single egg. As one of the earliest companies to join the association, and also among the first domestic enterprises to engage in the deep processing of egg products, Shendi Group has consistently and actively supported the industry’s development toward greater scale, branding, and higher value-added products. In the future, Shendi Group will continue to support the association’s work as always, working hand in hand with industry experts and peers to jointly promote the “all-round evolution” of a single egg, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the industry.
