After rinsing their mouths thoroughly, the employees finally returned to their workstations and began their day’s tasks. “Under the current nationwide efforts to optimize COVID-19 prevention and control measures, our company, Shendi, is leveraging its technological innovation capabilities to safeguard the health of our employees with scientifically developed products,” said Zou Min, Deputy General Manager of the company. The liquid used by employees for nasal cleansing and mouth rinsing is the same food-grade egg-derived lysozyme mouthwash—developed and manufactured entirely by Shendi itself and holding a national invention patent. Its key ingredient is lysozyme extracted from egg white, which boasts exceptional antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. It achieves an elimination rate of over 99% against harmful bacteria. This product is alcohol-free, colorant-free, and has a mild, non-irritating taste, making it suitable for people of all ages and genders as a preventive measure against COVID-19.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the company donated a batch of lysozyme mouthwash and eggshell fruit and vegetable cleaner—worth a total of 600,000 yuan—to the Jingshan Red Cross Society and the Fangcang Hospital in Hongshan District, Wuhan. The response was extremely positive, and these products played a significant role in safeguarding the physical and mental health of the public.
