On August 8, 2023, the founding ceremony of the Hubei Province Agricultural Industry Leading Talent Alliance and the Hongshan District Agricultural Industry Chain Party Building Alliance—sponsored jointly by the Organization Department of the Hongshan District Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Party Working Committee of Shizishan Subdistrict, and guided by the Hongshan District Committee of the CPC and the Hongshan District People's Government—was held at the Hongshan District Government Conference Center in Wuhan. Shendi Group was invited to attend the event.

This conference is themed “Integrating Party Building with Agriculture to Unite Strength and Empower High-Quality Industrial Development.” It aims to strengthen connections among agricultural leaders as well as between agricultural leaders and other social organizations, and is dedicated to creating a platform for agricultural entrepreneurs to learn, exchange ideas, provide services, and collaborate. Leaders from the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, and the Hongshan District Party Committee, representatives of agricultural experts, representatives from various business associations in Hongshan District, alumni entrepreneurs and participants from the Huashang Research Institute, members of the EDP Education Alliance, specialized and innovative entrepreneurs, and representatives of agricultural entrepreneurs have all gathered together.

Luo Shihong, Director of the Third Division of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting to provide guidance. Dai Yitao, a member of the District Government’s Party Leadership Group and Deputy District Mayor, read out the “Notice on Establishing the Hongshan District Agricultural Industry Chain Party Building Alliance.” Liu Huazhen, a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, attended the event and delivered a speech. She pointed out that Hongshan District should fully leverage the alliance’s role as a bridge and link in party building, continuously innovate cooperation models, enrich activity platforms, and promote joint efforts to strengthen supply chains—linking upstream and downstream enterprises, integrating large, medium, and small enterprises to extend chains, fostering collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions to optimize chains, and enhancing chains through partnerships among government, banks, and enterprises. This will enable all member units of the alliance to achieve “collaborative development” and “group-based development,” effectively transforming the Party’s political and organizational strengths into competitive advantages for the industry and driving its overall development.

At the event site, the charter of the Party-building Alliance and a list of co-construction projects were released. Twenty-two professors and scholars from the agricultural sector were appointed to form the expert pool of the Party-building Alliance. Li Shufeng, member of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Huashang Technology Investment Group; Zhou Shengli, Executive Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Institute of Agricultural Planning and Design; Hu Xiurong, a deputy to the Hubei Provincial People’s Congress, Vice Chairman of the Jingzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairwoman of Hubei Xiaohu Ya Food Co., Ltd.; and Liu Xiaofei, Chairman of Qianjiang Xiaofeige Seasoning Co., Ltd.—representatives from agricultural-related experts and agricultural entrepreneurs—each delivered presentations and shared insights on topics including “Uniting Hearts and Strengths: Building a Collaborative Alliance for Hubei’s Agricultural Industry Development,” “The Current Status and Development Trends of Agricultural Industrialization,” “Learning to Shape the Future: Innovation Driving Development,” and “How Digital Transformation Can Help Double Annual Performance.”
