On April 22, 2026, Yang Liangfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hubei Agricultural Development Group; Liu Jianghai, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Hubei Agricultural Development Group; and Ji Daobin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Grain and Oil Group, paid a visit to Shendi Group. The delegation conducted a focused inspection of the development of Shendi’s poultry and egg industry, accompanied by He Hongtao, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Jingshan City, and other city leaders. Under the guidance of Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, the research team first toured the Shendi Group Cultural Exhibition Hall. The exhibit vividly traces the company’s journey—from its unwavering commitment to its founding mission in its early years to more than two decades of technological breakthroughs and innovative transformation in the poultry-egg industry; from its pioneering implementation of the “Egg-Sourcing Technology for Health” philosophy to the realization of a high-value, closed-loop, full-industry-chain development encompassing fresh eggs, egg powder, liquid egg, eggshells, and egg membranes. The comprehensive display of historical milestones, accolades, and achievements offers a thorough portrayal of Shendi Group’s evolution and its compelling spirit of innovation.

Yang Fengfan, General Manager of Shendi Group, provided a detailed overview based on the exhibits in the company’s showroom, with particular emphasis on the industry development trends that the research delegation was keen to learn about. He noted that Shendi has been dedicated to the research and development of eggs for more than two decades, building up a deep pool of scientific expertise and achieving extensive commercialization of research outcomes. Among its product lines, fresh eggs stand out for their remarkable diversity, precisely meeting the needs of various market segments. For instance, Jingshan Eggs® Shendi Black Feather Green-Shell Eggs are a nationally recognized geographical indication product, renowned for their exceptional nutritional value and often hailed as “ginseng among eggs,” making them a flagship offering in Shendi’s fresh egg portfolio. Meanwhile, Dangshengyuan® Eggshell Fruit and Vegetable Cleaner represents Shendi’s pioneering efforts in the comprehensive utilization and high-value transformation of poultry egg by-products. Leveraging patented technology, the company extracts bioactive calcium microparticles from natural eggshell powder, which exhibit outstanding adsorption, complexation, and degradation capabilities. When applied to remove pesticide residues and heavy metals from fruits and vegetables, this product is not only safe and highly effective—achieving a bactericidal rate of 99.99%—but also enjoys widespread market acclaim, consistently ranking first on sales charts for similar products on platforms such as Douyin. The research team also conducted an on-site inspection of the Shendi Egg Products Deep-Processing Workshop, where they observed firsthand how individual eggs undergo a series of processes—including washing and disinfection, egg breaking, filtration, cooling, pasteurization, and spray drying—to be transformed into liquid egg and egg powder products, ultimately completing a fully automated, standardized, and modern production system for packaging.
