Provincial Party Secretary Ying Yong visited Huazhong Agricultural University, a university-enterprise cooperation partner of Shendi Company, for research purposes.

On November 17, Ying Yong, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, visited the Hongshan Laboratory and Huazhong Agricultural University—the R&D institution jointly established by Shendi and the university—and presided over a symposium. Guo Yuanqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, and Vice Governor Xiao Juhua also participated in the visit. Gao Chi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huazhong Agricultural University, and Li Zhaohu, President of Huazhong Agricultural University and Director of the Hongshan Laboratory Construction Committee, accompanied Secretary Ying Yong and provided an overview of the laboratory’s key research areas, scientific achievements, and their commercialization efforts. The research outcomes of Shendi Company were invited to be showcased during this visit.

The “EGGBIO” series of high-value technological innovations developed by Shen Di Company—such as egg membrane collagen peptides, eggshell fruit and vegetable cleanser, and egg white lysozyme mouthwash—were showcased at the Collaborative Innovation Center for Healthy Pig Raising at South China Agricultural University. These innovative products were subject to research and inspection by provincial party committee leaders and experts.

During this research visit, Ying Yong emphasized the need to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on scientific and technological innovation and accelerate the implementation of the “four pillars and eight supports” for building a province strong in science and technology. We should focus on key breakthroughs, leverage our strengths and advantages, innovate mechanisms, and attract talent—thus helping Hubei enhance the industrialization and modernization of its agriculture and contributing to the nation’s goal of achieving self-reliance and strength in science and technology as well as ensuring food security.
Shen Di Company will further deepen the integrated development of industry, academia, and research, promote the high-value transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and vigorously implement the seamless integration of industry, academia, research, and application. We will apply research findings to the practice of agricultural industrialization, innovate mechanisms for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and ensure that the fruits of scientific research bloom across the entire land of our motherland.
