On May 13, Ma Yanzhou, Vice Mayor of the Huanggang Municipal People's Government, along with a delegation of seven members, visited Jingshan City for an inspection tour. Accompanied by Zhao Shaolian, Deputy Secretary of the Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, as well as Zhang Yong, Secretary of the Jingshan Municipal Party Committee, and other municipal leaders, the delegation paid a focused visit to and conducted a thorough investigation of Shendi Group. Yang Yan, Chairman of Shendi Group, and heads of relevant departments accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions.

Yang Yan welcomed the arrival of the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to Shendi Group’s production, operations, innovative development, and key scientific and technological achievements. He also emphasized that the current favorable business environment and the thriving opportunities for industrial upgrading represent a rare and valuable period of development.

From being known as the “Number One Village for Laying Hens” to becoming the “China’s Leading Expert in Egg Production” and then to realizing its ambitious vision of “leading China’s high-tech egg industry and developing a 10-billion-yuan health-care industry,” Shendi Group has, over nearly two decades of continuous growth and development, evolved into a comprehensive group enterprise that uses green laying-hen farming as its core platform, focuses on the integrated development and sophisticated processing of eggs through biotechnology, and achieves high-value, closed-loop utilization across the entire industrial chain—from fresh eggs and egg powder to liquid egg products, eggshells, and egg membranes.

After a thorough review and having listened to a detailed report on Shendi Group’s production, operations, and development, Ma Yanzhou fully affirmed Shendi Group’s remarkable achievements over the past two decades of continuous innovation. He highly praised the group’s outstanding scientific and technological breakthroughs in the deep processing of egg products as well as in the development and utilization of eggshells and shell membranes. He stated that he would bring back to Huanggang the insights gained from this visit, learn from Shendi Group’s advanced development experiences, and promote the commercialization of more scientific and technological achievements to drive high-quality economic growth.
