Wu Jun, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau, attended the event and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the efficient utilization of intellectual property is the ultimate goal of comprehensively strengthening intellectual property protection and the primary pathway to realizing the value of intellectual property. Following the working approach of "inventorying, promoting, and converting simultaneously," we must ensure that the patents identified and selected for conversion are put into practical use, brought to life, and swiftly transformed into real productive forces. We hope that universities, research institutes, enterprises, and financial institutions will further focus on the main frontiers of economic development, address the pressing challenges and needs faced by businesses, target the weak links and shortcomings in industrial development, pool wisdom and resources, and collaborate on tackling key problems, thereby enabling an increasing number of scientific and technological achievements to move from “laboratories” to “production lines.” Wu Jun stated that the Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau will provide full support and excellent service, continuously intensify efforts to promote patent commercialization, and create a surge in transforming “intellectual capital” into “financial capital.”
