Good News | Shendi Group Wins Third Prize in the Hubei Provincial Finals of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

From August 22 to 23, the finals of the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Division) concluded in Wuhan, with a grand awards ceremony and a launch event for the Hubei Province Science and Technology Enterprise Full-Lifecycle Cultivation Program held concurrently. Among numerous projects, Shendi Group’s “Egg Source Technology Development: A Ten-Billion-Yuan Health Industry” project stood out and won third prize in the provincial finals.

　　Innovation leads the way, and entrepreneurship turns dreams into reality. This year’s competition in Hubei Province is jointly hosted by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the Communist Youth League Hubei Provincial Committee. Since the launch of the competition in May of this year, it has attracted a total of 7.63 million enterprises from across the province, covering multiple sectors including biomedicine, electronic information, new materials, new energy, and energy conservation and environmental protection. After rigorous rounds of regional and semi-final competitions, 50 companies—including Hubei Shendi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shendi Group—have advanced to the provincial finals. The projects submitted by these companies are fiercely contested and exceptionally exciting.

　　At the final pitch event, Niu Hua, Deputy General Manager of Shendi Group, provided a detailed introduction and presentation of the group’s “Egg Source Technology Development: A Ten-Billion-Yuan Big Health Industry” project, covering aspects such as product development, technological innovation, analysis of the industry market background and competitive landscape, and strategic planning.

　　The “Egg Source Technology Development—A Ten-Billion-Yuan Big Health Industry” project of Shen Di Group leverages innovative biotechnology to develop a series of high-value, functional products centered on the deep processing of egg products and the comprehensive utilization of egg by-products, thereby meeting the growing demand for greater health. These products span multiple categories, including health foods, household cleaning products, functional health supplements, daily chemical care items, and pet food. By fully harnessing egg resources, the project not only boosts the added value and technological sophistication of the egg industry but also achieves green, high-value development while significantly reducing energy consumption and emissions. Moreover, it has demonstrated its profound social value in areas such as technological innovation, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, industrial driving effects, environmental protection, and job creation. The project’s innovative concepts and achievements have earned high praise from the judges present, making it stand out remarkably among the many projects submitted!

　　The award ceremony and the promotion meeting for the Hubei Province Science and Technology Innovation Enterprise Full-Lifecycle Cultivation Program were held the day after the competition concluded. Leaders from the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Department of Finance attended the event, along with representatives from the science and technology bureaus of various cities, prefectures, and districts in Hubei Province, as well as leaders from high-tech zones. Also in attendance were representatives from winning companies such as Shendi Group, Lantu Automobile, and Zhenfu Pharmaceutical.

　　Feng Yanfei, Party Secretary and Director of the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, delivered a speech emphasizing that the implementation of the “Full-Lifecycle Cultivation Plan for Science and Technology Enterprises” is a crucial step in carrying out the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Government. Hubei will adopt targeted measures and tailor-made services for science and technology enterprises at different stages of growth, continuously expanding the scale of such enterprises in the province. This will effectively foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem characterized by vigorous competition and dynamic development, providing strong support for Hubei to accelerate its efforts to become a national hub for scientific and technological innovation and to serve as a leading region in building a new development paradigm nationwide.
