On January 13, 2023, Niu Hua, Deputy General Manager of Shendi Huifeng Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shendi Huifeng Technology), a subsidiary of the Shendi Group, was invited to attend the 2022 Annual Hubei Province Employee Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Achievement Exhibition, hosted by the Hubei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, co-organized by the Wuhan Federation of Trade Unions, and undertaken by the Hubei Province Employees’ Science, Technology, and Culture Center. At the event, Mr. Niu engaged in in-depth exchanges with representatives from various enterprises regarding the group’s development.

Liu Jianyu, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, delivered a speech at the conference. We must deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and, in accordance with the arrangements made at the 12th Provincial Party Congress of Hubei Province, carry out the provincial party committee’s requirements for launching the “One Down, Three Civilians” practical activity. By organizing the 2022 Hubei Province Employee Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Achievement Exhibition, we will fully leverage the trade union organizations’ role as a bridge and link, facilitating smooth channels and pooling resources for enterprises across the upstream and downstream segments of industrial chains, promoting regional cooperation and enterprise matching, accelerating the transformation and application of employee innovation and entrepreneurship achievements, ensuring project implementation and development, and contributing to the construction of a national pilot zone for establishing a new development paradigm.

Looking back at 2022, this marked the second time that HSBC Technology, the technology division of Shendi Group, has participated in the innovation and entrepreneurship event hosted by the Hubei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions. On December 30, 2022, the 5th “Gongyou Cup” Employee Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Hubei Province came to a successful conclusion. After more than three months of rigorous evaluation, Shendi Group stood out from among 1,420 innovation and entrepreneurship projects submitted by 1,096 enterprises and 26 universities across the province, achieving its best-ever performance. The company ranked among the top ten at the city level and among the top fifty at the provincial level.

The results-matching event is an important link in extending the service chain and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of employees’ innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. This series of exhibition showcasing Hubei Province’s employee innovation and entrepreneurship projects focuses on supporting the advancement of the regional development strategy—“one leading force, two driving wings, and comprehensive regional synergy”—and centers on building a “51020” modern industrial cluster system. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of employee innovation and entrepreneurship projects as well as enterprise development.
