From June 3 to 5, 2024, the 10th Wuhan Seed Industry Expo 2024 was held at the northern campus of the Municipal Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Shendi Group was invited to participate, showcasing its fresh eggs and a range of egg-derived science and technology-based health products. While promoting its brand and products, the group also sought to explore broader areas and higher-level collaborations and exchanges.

This year’s Wuhan Seed Expo (the 10th edition) is themed “Cultivating the ‘Core’ of Sowing and Cultivation to Foster New-Model Productivity.” It is guided by the China Seed Association and jointly hosted by the Hubei Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Wuhan Rural Development Association, the Hubei Provincial Modern Agriculture Exhibition Center, and the Wuhan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. More than 3,000 new and superior varieties from over 500 agricultural enterprises across China will be showcased in a concentrated manner through on-site exhibitions, indoor displays, and online platforms, setting the pace for the development of the seed industry’s value chain. Academicians Deng Zixin, Gui Jianfang, Li Peiwu, Zou Xuechang, and other renowned experts, leading figures in the seed industry, and key market players have all come together to make this event a grand success!

At the opening ceremony, Jiang Xiexin, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Seed Association, Deng Zixin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Shiwei, Party Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, delivered speeches one after another. Representatives from the international seed industry also delivered video addresses, jointly witnessing the grand spectacle of the Seed Industry Expo.

On the first day of the event, leaders including Wang Yuzhen, Director of the Agricultural Office of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee in Hubei Province, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Rural Revitalization, visited the Shen Di Group’s booth for inspection and guidance. Under the on-site explanation provided by Shen Di’s staff, they gained a detailed understanding of Shen Di’s innovative, full-chain development model for egg products and its outstanding achievements in the commercialization of egg-related technologies. They expressed their appreciation for Shen Di Group’s innovative development model and technological products, and encouraged Shen Di to continue pushing forward with breakthroughs and innovation.

At this Seed Expo, Shendi Group showcased its entire egg-product value chain, covering fresh eggs as well as eggshell-based fruit and vegetable cleaners, lysozyme toothpaste/mouthwash, and other egg-derived health products that leverage advanced technology.

A tasting area has been set up at the exhibition venue. The simplest dish—boiled eggs in plain water—is fragrant, tender, and easy to peel, with a pure, authentic egg flavor that has drawn many visitors to stop and sample it. Shendi eggs are not only delicious but also rich in nutrients and completely safe. The Shendi Qidan eggs showcased this time were specially developed and bred for raw-eating enthusiasts—they have no fishy taste when eaten raw. Jing Shan eggs are a nationally recognized geographical indication product, bred and preserved by a team of academician-level experts who meticulously refine feed formulations, ensuring these eggs are nutritionally complete and often referred to as "ginseng among eggs."

The Wuhan Seed Industry Expo is a nationally significant agricultural trade show that Hubei Province and Wuhan City have been vigorously developing.
