On November 30, the Jiangxia monthly competition of the Wuhan Science and Technology Innovation Contest—focused on the healthcare and biotechnology sectors—was held in the Wuchang district. The “Egg-Source Technology Development: Building a Ten-Billion-Yuan Health Industry” project by Shendi Group won third place in this month’s competition and has thus advanced smoothly to the quarterly finals.

This competition is themed “Embrace Self-Reliance and Strength, Seize the Future through Scientific and Technological Innovation,” and is organized by... Guided by the Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau, the science and technology and informationization bureaus of each district. The event is co-organized and jointly hosted, aiming to accelerate the implementation of an innovation-driven development strategy, achieve high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and strength, and build Wuhan into a nationally influential center for scientific and technological innovation. The competition features four regional divisions; this Wuchang division’s special session on health technology brought together numerous high-quality scientific and technological achievements from Jiangxia, Wuchang, Hongshan, and Qingshan, covering fields such as bio-agriculture, smart healthcare, and bio-health. The session also attracted nearly a hundred representatives from venture capital firms, incubation service providers, banks, and enterprises who came to observe the proceedings firsthand.

They expressed admiration for Shendi Group’s passionate dedication to the poultry egg industry and praised its proactive efforts to transition from traditional agriculture to modern bio-agriculture, as well as its vigorous development of the high-value-added egg-processing and greater health industries.
